For the first time in 15 years, MSU Women’s Lacrosse is heading to Nationals. After a record breaking season, that saw the Spartans finish 12-3, the team has received a bid to the 2023 USA Lacrosse Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Associates (WCLA) National Championships.
Featuring 16 Division I and 12 Division II teams, the tournament fields are comprised of a combination of teams earning automatic qualifiers as league champions and teams earning at-large berths. The tournament will be held May 9-12 at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex and Sportsplex in Virginia Beach, Va.
In the first round of the tournament, MSU, number fifteen seed, is scheduled to play University of Georgia, number two seed on Tuesday, May 9th at 2:00 p.m. Go Green!
